Special Tweets Report: Upcoming Study Reveals Key Work-From-Home Challenges
As a result of working conditions brought on by the pandemic, what new circumstances have you found most frustrating or time-consuming? By contrast, what if any changes in your work sparked by the pandemic are beneficial? Given stay-at-home restrictions, how have you conducted or received staff supervision and training?
The answers to questions like these and more have been provided by editors who completed a recent work-from-home study conducted by Editorial Solutions Inc.
The time to contribute to this study has now run out, but if you want to help, we would welcome hearing from you. Volunteer for an interview, or just send your thoughts and relay your experiences to Howard Rauch at editsol1@optimum.net.
The initial study results will be out very soon, but in the meantime, you can review several items generated by survey participants in this month’s Tweet summary. If you like what you see, be sure to follow my regular Twitter feed.
Possible meetings overload may exist since more full-time editors entered work-at-home stage. This is common reaction offered by several respondents to my Work From Home Survey now in progress. More findings coming soon.

Just encountered “presenteeism” concept. Pertains to measuring editorial performance by full-time staff working from home. Sounds like wasted effort. Will discuss in future post. Comments welcome pro or con!!!
